Overview

Atlethy (“we”, “our”, “the app”) helps you log workouts, track progress, and connect with other athletes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account data: email, display name, username, profile photo, and sign-in method (for example Apple or Google).
• Workout & fitness data: exercises, sets, reps, weights, notes, and statistics you choose to log.
• Social data: posts, stories, comments, friend connections, and group activity when you use those features.
• Photos & media: images you upload to workouts, stories, or your profile.
• Device & usage data: basic technical data needed to run the app (such as crash logs and performance data) through our infrastructure providers.
• Purchases: if you subscribe to GymBro+, Apple processes payment. We receive subscription status from Apple to unlock premium features — we do not receive your full payment card number.

How we use information

• Provide core app features (logging, social, statistics, premium tools).
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
• Respond to support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations when required.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing & service providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate the app, including cloud hosting, authentication, and analytics infrastructure (for example Google Firebase). These providers process data only to deliver the service on our behalf and under their own privacy terms where applicable.

Content you make public (such as posts visible to friends or groups) can be seen by other users according to your in-app privacy settings.

Your choices

• Manage visibility and social permissions in the app’s Settings.
• Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and associated data from our systems, subject to short backup retention where required by law or security.
• Manage GymBro+ billing through Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Children

Atlethy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
